Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of Patriq (patriq.finance), a personal project operated by Cristian Jimenez. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. Read them alongside the Privacy Policy.

1. What Patriq is

Patriq is a personal wealth-tracking tool: it lets you record your assets and liabilities, see your consolidated net worth, and explore projections and goals (including an indicative "financial independence" or FIRE calculation). For assets with a market price, Patriq queries external providers to keep the value updated automatically.

2. This is not financial advice

Patriq is not a financial advisor and is not a regulated entity for investment services. Everything you see in the app — net worth, projections, FIRE number, financial health score, benchmark comparisons — are indicative calculations based on the data you enter and simplified assumptions (for example, a constant annual return). They are not investment recommendations, a guarantee of future results, or a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional.

Past performance does not guarantee future returns. Before making significant financial decisions, consult a licensed financial, tax, or legal advisor.

3. Accuracy of data and prices

Automated values (stocks, funds, crypto, gold) depend on third-party APIs (Finnhub, GoldAPI.io, Stooq/ECB, CoinGecko) that can fail, lag, or return incorrect data. Manual values (real estate, vehicles, cash, other) depend on what you enter and your own judgment. Patriq does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or timeliness of any price or valuation shown.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password and any passkey linked to your account confidential, and for all activity under your session. Notify us at info@patriq.finance if you detect unauthorized access.

5. Third-party integrations

If you connect Indexa Capital, Revolut X, or another provider, you authorize Patriq to query your positions on your behalf using the token you provide. You can revoke access at any time from Settings. Patriq isn't responsible for the availability, changes, or errors of those providers' APIs.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Patriq for unlawful purposes, attempt to access other users' data, or try to circumvent the service's security measures.

7. Service availability

Patriq is provided "as is" and is under active development. We don't guarantee continuous availability or error-free operation. We may introduce changes, discontinue features, or ultimately discontinue the service, giving as much reasonable notice as circumstances allow.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Patriq is not liable for financial decisions you make based on information in the app, or for losses arising from data errors, service interruptions, or third-party provider failures.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under applicable consumer-protection regulation.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; significant changes will be communicated by email and reflected in the "last updated" date on this page.
